Hypothyroid- Part 1
Many people experience symptoms of a hypothyroid, such as decreased energy, and many more are undiagnosed with conditions such as Hashimoto's (an autoimmune disorder where the body destroys the thyroid gland). Modern medicine treats all symptoms and issues concerning the thyroid gland the same way, using the same drugs. Unfortunately this won't work for the majority of people, and although it will in some cases balance out blood markers, symptoms will remain. In the next few weeks I'll be blogging about all things thyroid, empowering readers to demand more from their primary care physicians and equipping readers with tools that will help them take their health into their own hands.
Some common symptoms of hypothyroid related issues are:
fatigue, problems losing weight, mental sluggishness, constipation, low libido, hair loss, depression, insomnia, nervousness, anxiety, cold hands and feet, poor digestion
