Only a handful of pop stars have declared their intention to release new albums in 2022, with titles and street dates already set. Plenty of other beloved chart-toppers, such as Shawn Mendes, BTS, Harry Styles and countless others are reportedly either due for comebacks or working on material that will likely end up as part of a complete project, but fans will have to wait until those acts are ready to announce something special for the good news.

Camila Cabello - Familia

2021 was very busy for Camila Cabello, even if much of the year was spent on lockdown. The former Fifth Harmony singer starred in her first movie, Amazon’s Cinderella, which came with its own brand new soundtrack as well. The musician also shared her first two singles from her to-be-released third solo full-length Familia. Lead cut "Don't Go Yet" nearly broke into the top 40 on the Hot 100, while follow-up "Oh Na Na" with Myke Towers and Tainy didn’t make much of a commercial impact at all.

Shawn Mendes - Likely a possibility

Since he stopped promoting his last album Wonder, Shawn Mendes has been busy working on new music, and fans have already gotten to hear some of it. The heartthrob dropped the seasonal tune "Summer of Love" with Tainy and the timely “It’ll Be Okay,” which arrived shortly after Mendes and Cabello revealed they had split. The Canadian chart-topper hasn’t announced a new full-length, but chances are one is very much in the works.

Battle Of The Big Men: Big T vs Shotgun Suge

The two biggest battlers go head to head at SM5. Big T and Shotgun Suge exchanged gun bars till the very end but ultimately I feel the win went to Big T. From the gate T had clever delivery and schemes. Although he did have a few wack lines and punches that didn’t land he still had enough of a lead to coast him to victory. Shotgun never just dies, he went out swinging with some ferocious bars that did have you thinking at times. All in all I give the first two rounds to Big T and the last round to Shotgun Suge.
