Friend Friday or: Beans and Beer
Friend Friday or: Beans and Beer
Salutations™!!
Remember when you used to do the #FF on Twitter just a few years back? It stood for Follow Friday or Friend Friday (according to who you asked) and as far as I can tell, no one really does that any longer and whilst I’ll admit I was slack on that on Twitter, I will also say that Twitter isn’t my main social media platform and I just didn’t do it. But, I think it was a good idea and…

Small Batch, What? or: The Less Desirables Beer of the Week
Salutations™!!
City Beverage, the Official Beer Sponsor of The Less Desirables, presents The Less Desirables Beer of the Week… Well, something from Small Batch Beer Company.
You see, our guest tonight is Brad Clark of Wings Over Winston, the premier drone photography dude of all dudes in good ol’ WSNC. He’s pals with Ryan Blain, with whom I am also a pal, of Small Batch Beer and Ryan is coming…

Silent Sunday or: Why Can’t I Get Just One KISS?
Salutations™!!
Lots of food and alcohol this weekend, including the two-year anniversary of Small Batch Beer Co. and Meridian and some Mary’s Gourmet Diner, because that’s what we do! Even sitting or wandering whilst The BCPF shopped around for some new clothes was fun because I was spending it with her. Not too shabby.

On-Tap: January 12th, 2013
The American Pale Ale is again on-tap. Also, flights will now feature 4 SingleSpeed beers! Guest beer is the same as the last post.
OUR BEER
American Pale Ale
Our well-balanced take on a classic beer style. Falconer’s Flight 7 C’s provides the characteristic citrus aroma and accompanies a blend of four select grains creating an easy drinking, flavorful brew.
OG: 1.053, IBU: 44, ABV: 5.3%
West Coast Amber - Session Ale
The point at which the worlds of Amber and Pale collide. This hop-forward offering is brewed on a solid foundation of Pale, Caramel, Chocolate and Munich malts.
OG: 1.054, IBU: 46, ABV: 5.3%
American IPA
Medium malt character, but the hops are the story here. A more than hearty dosage of hops throughout the boil and then again following fermentation. This one is heavy on hop aroma, flavor and bitterness.
OG: 1.074, IBU: 78, ABV: 7.2%
Belgian Witbier
Our interpretation of the traditional Belgian Wheat style. Brewed with Pilsner Malt and a healthy dose of wheat and oats. Spiced with orange peel and coriander.
OG: 1.049, IBU: 19, ABV: 4.6%
COMING SOON:
American Wheat, Winter Ale & Imperial Red / Double IPA
GUEST BEER
Nommo Dubbel Belgian Abbey Ale (Dubbel) Boulevard Brewing Co., Kansas City, MO 8.00% ABV, IBU 25
Unchained Batch #11 (Old 152) Kentucky Common Summit Brewing Co., St. Paul, MN 5.8% ABV, IBU 55
Imperial Stout Peace Tree Brewing Co., Knoxville, IA 10% ABV

Black Porter American Porter Broad Street Brewing, Reinbeck, IA 6.0% ABV, IBU 32
Double Wide IPA Double IPA Boulevard Brewing Co., Kansas City, MO 8.5% ABV, IBU 71
