I must have read/listened to Small Favour about two dozen times before, but I only now realised that Summer were the ones who brought the Courts into it. Mab's "When one court moves, the other must perforce move with it" is an excellent deflection and I've previously always bought the implication that she's there to defend her Accords and Summer is just working against her. But I finally realised that there's no way to reconcile that with the gruffs' early strike. And Lord Gruff's obvious disquiet when Harry asks about Summer's involvement makes it pretty clear that this isn't standard "oppose everything Winter does" territory.
