SOLIDER Eyes
GUESS WHO’S BACKKK🥹 it’s me.. with a final fantasy 7 addiction..!!!!!
You’d only caught small glimpses of him around Midgar. He seemed to be everywhere yet no where. His spiked black hair that shined like a raven’s feathers against his barely tanned skin.
At first, you’d think the first thing you’d notice would’ve been his sword. But you noticed his eyes. They shined like the sky. A beautiful blue, like none you’d ever seen before.
You need not know his name, for you barely saw him, but his eyes had somehow burned themselves into your brain.
The weather was melancholiac. Cloudy, slightly windy. The type of weather where it was nice to go outside, yet no one did in fear of the rain. The wind having a slight chill to it. You’d think this weather to be uncommon in Midgar.
The events played out as if you were in some Hallmark movie.
You were on your way back to your home, spaced out while looking down at your feet to make sure you don’t trip at least. And just becuase you were looking down at your shoes, you didn’t get to see another pair walking right towards you, and you inevitably bump into whoever had the misfortune of walking into you.
You stumble back a few steps, making sure you don’t stumble and fall. You feel a hand grab your arm, it felt rough. It was only then did you look up and meet those same blue eyes that had burned their way into your head. SOLIDER eyes.
“Are you okay? I’m sorry about that.”
His laugh he lets out is slightly awkward as he lets go of your arm and rubs the back of his head, ruffling his already messy hair.
“I’m fine, thank you…”
You hesitate for a moment before apologizing for bumping into him.
“It’s so sweat!”
His smile is charming, intentionally or not. It brings a small one to your own lips.
Your eyes take a chance to finally rake over him now that you’re up close.
The scar on his jaw catching your eyes as they wander up to his hair. He’s got a pretty face.. and eyes.
You look away to try and not make it obvious but of course he notices anyway.
“Excuse me..” you mumble out as you make an attempt to side step and make your way around him.
His eyes follow you as you go to walk around him and his body reacts faster than his mind does as he steps to the side blocking your path.
You halt half way through your step, your eyes snapping up from the ground up to him again.
A small hum comes from you, almost sounding like a breath.
“I.. uh..”
He stumbles on his words for a moment before stepping aside to clear your way once more, his hand at the back of his neck.
“Sorry..”
“Right..” you mumble out as you step past him.
Days pass and you thought that small interaction would fade from your memory. Afterall, you didn’t even know the guys name. Just that he was a tall SOLIDER with beautiful eyes.
Any blue would catch your eye and remind you of his. You could only wonder why. Wonder his name.. Just wonder.
