This time last year I had to buy a size large/x-large and that embarrassed the hell out of me.

Now, I can feel confident in myself, and that is why I started this journey ☺️

Since I’ve lost quite a bit of weight, my jeans kept falling off me. So, I decided to get the next smaller size. I’m wearing the new jeans now and it fits so much better. Just slightly baggy, but that got better after the first wash. I’m happy I’m down a size! Yay! There’s only one smaller size left. The brand I like doesn’t have smaller sizes past that. I’ll need to look at Misses sizes. I haven’t done that in a while. From my heaviest (long before weighing myself) I’ve now lost 5 sizes. That’s a lot.

I stopped weighing myself 4 days ago. The scale started to go crazy and stopped showing the composition part. It didn’t even recognize me. I did everything it said I should do, even taking the batteries out for a few seconds and putting them back in. None of it worked. I looked at the reviews and apparently it’s a problem many people have with it. I decided to get a new scale. (It also has the composition thing.) It’s a little cheaper, yet it has tons of positive reviews. It also has an app. The app looks a bit more ‘busy’, but I think I’ll get used to it. It does a couple more things than the other scale: skeletal muscle, subcutaneous fat. I’ll see what it’s like tomorrow morning. I’m nervous I gained weight. Before the old scale acted up, I was gaining a little bit (like 0.2 up each for a couple of days), but I was gaining a lot of muscle according to it. (Probably because I added minutes to my walks.) Muscle weighs more than fat, and maybe it’s been burning some of it off. Either way, I’ll just continue what I’m doing for now.
