Can we know which characters are lgbtq? Im just kinda curious

Keepers, Kittens, and Herbalists

Smallpebble, Shrewbelly, Starkpath, Frostshadow, Fog, Night, Lichen

Smallpebble is currently the only Marsh Colony Herbalist, as the colony only just lost Ruddywhisker and Starrybog in the last few seasons, but she handles it with grace. Marsh Colony cats are hardy, and with Smallpebble on the job, most illnesses or wounds are caught before they have a chance to spread. 

In particular, she keeps a close eye on Marsh Colony’s Keepers and Kittens. And since Shrewbelly’s mother was Starrybog, the older Keeper has a good sense of what to look for and consult Smallpebble about.

Shrewbelly used to have to manage all the Keeper duties by himself, but recent additions to his rank are Starkpath and Frostshadow. Starkpath is so diligent and careful, and Frostshadow so soft and caring. Together, it’s given Shrewbelly some extra time to devote solely to his new mate and Kitten, Lichen.

Can I ask why Smallpebble is not on the Council? is it due to the size to where she is just not needed? 🤔

Normally, Herbalists aren't on the Council. Field Colony is the exception where Herbalists are always a part of the Council, and in Oak Colony, Elmtail sees the wisdom in letting Wrensong have a voice, though she doesn't get a vote.

You'll soon see how Orangebrook in River Colony and the Keepers are moreso treated like second-class citizens who have the least say when it comes to Council matters.

Smallpebble, Herbalist of Marsh Colony

The two Herbalists nuzzled each other in greeting. Smallpebble tucked the violets into her thick fur with a loud purr, then placed the rest of the herbs in the cavities of the stump. She sliced a few white mushrooms and placed them in Wrensong’s bag. “These will help with Hailstorm’s pregnancy!”

Though Shrewpelt was the father of their coming litter, Wrensong was as much Hailstorm’s mate as the red tom, and she would take an active role in the lives of the kittens. Smallpebble would be a distant aunt to them, but she was still excited to meet them at the Moonlight Meeting when they were old enough

Marsh Colony members Ref Sheets for Chapter one! Even though these ref sheets are quite simple, it was great practice because some characters, like Smallpebble, we didn't have a full idea of what she looked like yet. Love a lot of the Marsh Colony designs <3
