so im taking the smarter balanced test and they misspelled “rapeseed oil” as “oilseed rape”

I just found out that you can opt out of most state’s high school testing if you want. If you want reliable information on whether you can opt out of a state test, check the internet. You can find reliable information on the test’s website. DO NOT ASK YOUR TEACHER!!! They will tell you you aren’t allowed to opt out even if you are.

I bet Maine’s standardized testing system was made by a bunch of completely smashed legislators drunkenly submitting a bill, and everyone went along with it just to humor them, but then they realized too late they couldn’t back out.

Thanks for the heads-up, BP! It is good to see these students refuse to participate in Common Core testing. It appears that the kids are smarter than the school board. Go figure. -LW
