Smitelout is so jealous. And she lashes out. And it doesn’t help that she was Gobber’s apprentice before Eret grew up and Hiccup took an interest and they needed somewhere to stash the little twerp. Smitelout is a cranky, cranky wounded girl.
(And I think she might have a little crush on Ingrid that she can’t admit to herself. Because this universe is a delightful soap opera of ridiculous.)

no boy his daughters age has ever come into the house except maybe if they had a son and the sons of the other couples, but even then, he does not want boys near any of his daughters
he’s like that really intimidating dad that others are scared of but his own children are like, he is literally the lamest person we have ever met, like he is not scary.

he probably forbids her from dating until she’s married and she is just like how the fuvk does that make sense? and he’s like i am your father my words are binding and then he marches off
his daughters are not the brightest people, but are at least a teeny tiny bit smarter than their father, but they still go stupid things

she is not happy with being pregnant, only because she’s not allowed to do the things she likes anymore, fighting, drinking, pranking and stunts
while pregnant, her knife throwing gets much better
she would probably get pretty bad morning sickness in the beginning
then she has these really intense mood swings, either she’s really kinda bitchy and horribly mean or she’s happy and it’s like a rainbow of giggles, kindness and sweetness shat on her
she eats, she eats a lot, craving weird food but it’s not as bad as rosethorn when she is pregnant, she literally got hungry as she ate
Astrid’s cooking suddenly becomes a delicacy to her and she can’t get enough
Snotlout is really, really, REALLY protective of her, like people are not allowed to come withing a five foot radius of her, especially not tuffnut because he’s afraid tuffnut might like fuck shit up

well, he was not happy when he found out ruffnut had a girl, like he kinda sourly walked over to ruff’s bedside and was like why are you not a boy.. to the baby… then ruffnut was like stop being a bitch and hold her and as soon as he picked her up, he literally melted and was snuggling baby and the tears came and he was a mess and refused to let anyone else touch her
The baby has this cute little squishy face and a tuft of ebony hair and dark blue eyes, spitting image of snotlout pretty much
(i changed my original headcanon) they actually end up naming the little girl smitelout, cause it looks like snotty and ruffnut sure as hell didn’t want to name her snotlout jr, which snotlout was strangely ok naming his daughter… any way, there is now another lout and they call her smitty and she’s just like her father
He probably like, squishes his face with his daughter when she’s born and the tears are just everywhere and ruffnut is kinda grosses out but lets a couple tears out because ya know, she just had a baby, and the father is so happy
Snotlout probably like had his daughter with him at all times, either in like a basket or strapped onto his chest, that baby is only going where he goes
Snotlout blows rasberry’s on his daughters tummy and she loves it because father like daughter and snotlout likes it when ruffnut does that to him but he won’t admit it
