Here’s a twofer for Wee Wednesday and Wednesday in the Wild!

Earlier this month, I was in LA to give a talk and as I always do, I stayed with family in Pasadena. When I was out there last summer, my little cousin fell in love with my “STEM Women are all over it” shirt. So naturally, this trip I had to bring her one of her own. I think it’s safe to say she liked it. 

She’s starting to amass a startorial track record and I couldn’t be prouder. ;)

Remember when the awesomeness of landing on a comet was slightly tempered by a “wardrobe malfunction”? In addition to the SciShirt phenomenon, another silver lining of that debacle was the @kickstarter to fund That Other Shirt.

Also known as STEM: Women are All Over It, the pattern features over 50 notable women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and is also available as fabric, wallpaper, and gift wrap from @spoonflower as well as basic fit, slim fit, and youth t-shirts (yay for non-gendered sizing!).

Summer has worn her t-shirt to exciting events, like a Star Trek convention, recording a @startalkradio podcast, and being on @nerdist. Once I went to a conference where three shirts appeared! Basically, wearing this shirt will probably earn you high-fives from other cool people, is what I’m trying to say.
