who wears the ugly christmas sweaters: both!! even though she's jewish her and oliver always attend thea's annual ugly christmas sweater party and felicity picks out the ugliest sweaters for the two of them.

who picks out the holiday movies and who makes the hot cocoa: felicity picks the movie and oliver makes the hot cocoa.

who starts the snowball fight: felicity!!

who drags the other under the mistletoe: oliver.

who decorates the house: felicity decorates the inside and oliver decorates the outside!

who hangs up the ornaments on the tree: both!

who cooks christmas dinner: neither because they both suck at cooking but surprisingly thea is a good cook so christmas dinner always takes place at thea and roy's.

who invites the other to sing a christmas duet: felicity!!

if they have any holiday traditions: during hanukkah they go and visit felicity's mother in vegas and the night before christmas they each allow each other to open one present each and then they save the rest for christmas morning.

who would start a food fight during baking: OLIVER.

who would get drunk off of eggnog: felicity. definitely felicity.

I just saw your post about you being anti laurel as bc? I could not agree more. I felt like I was one of the only people since most people I've talked too love her. I can deal with little bits of her per episode but i cannot deal with a laurel lance centric episode. I think the ratings will go down, if they once again do laurel centric episodes..

i honestly think the ratings are going to suffer, too. first of all, they are coming back from an approximately month long hiatus. you need to market something that's going to get people excited and wanting to tune in for more. second, they are focusing on a character that approximately 70% of the viewership is just completely indifferent towards. third, your main character is absent. that in itself is a risky move, especially coming off a break.

the thing is, i don't even hate laurel as a character. i'm just so apathetic to her. the most i feel is annoyance and 'oh god this again' when it comes to her. i wish i didn't feel this way but i do. her rushed transformation arc to becoming bc doesn't help her case either, especially after they gave us such a dynamic character in sara as the original. (i may have had my problems with some of the things sara did, but i could at least understand where she was coming from and sympathize with her.) i wish they had spent this entire season rebuilding laurel and making her into someone i could root for, waiting to put her in the bc suit until the finale. roy's superhero arc was better than hers honestly and he's still learning what it means to be a hero and to deal with certain consequences to his actions.
