#smokescreen headcanons

Hey so today was very exhausting and as soon as I got home I literally just laid on the floor and took a two hour nap lol. I was wondering how the tfp bots (Specifically Optimus, Ratchet, and Smokescreen) would react to their human charge (platonic/ family relationship) doing the same? Like they pick them up and when they get to base and as soon as they stop to let them out, the human just opens the door and collapses on the floor in exhaustion. And when they try to move them the human just slaps their servo away or lets out a loud groan to just let them sleep XD (Sorry that this is long 🏃)

Optimus [Prime]

- The leader picked you up from work as usual - He kept the inside warm and cozy so you could rest after the intensive labour - Unlike usually, you seemed much more exhausted and seemed to disregard any conversation in favour of some shut eye - He just turned the radio to some calm music and tried to drive the less bumpy or disturbing way possible - Instead of letting you out, he transformed with you in his grip and brought you to his private space - None of the others disturbed you or him as he carried you away - One blanket pile on his chassis later you were out like a light - Optimus simply read a datapad worth of information, enjoying the casual silence you shared - The other humans and autobots could be a lot to handle, he appreciated that you made it so easy for him to care for you - Even if unintentional, your break ended up being his break too

Ratchet [Prime]

- Ratchet wasn't one to worry too quickly - But... you were more quiet than usual and showed signs of severe exhaustion - Not wanting to bother, he tried to assume the best until you got back to base - But you slumping out when he opened his door and collapsing to the floor was enough to jump start his spark - He made EVERYONE get out or stay quiet - Lays you down on the couch with a blanket while scanning you 3...4...5 times just to ensure your safety - Luckily you were fine, just low on energy - The medic looks over you nonetheless, even grabbing some water and human food to sit on the coffee table for when you woke up - " You seem quite worried, old friend " - I was assigned to watch over them, wasn't I? "

Smokescreen [Prime]

- He was so busy talking to you about his day that he didn't even realize you were half asleep and only mumbling back responses - Opens his door as usual but didn't expect you to tumble out because you were leaning on it - Pokes you like you are a dead body - " Y/n ?! " - Thought you may have been killed by something he did - But you raised your hand dismissively - Picks you up carefully and puts you on his shoulder so you aren't in the way of being stepped on by others - Gives you your dropped sweater to use as a blanket - Smokescreen really tries to stay still so you can rest comfortably but sometime he jolts or has to hold himself from doing anything brash

Smokescreen AU Headcanons

• Smokey hates doing his leg exercises when he first becomes paralyzed, so Blurr and Bumblebee introduce him to the "cha-cha slide" and the "cupid shuffle" and they dance to it to get Smokey to exercise his legs. If he's having an especially sad day, sometimes Mirage and the other bots will join in.

• Smokey hates it when two bots constantly fight. It reminds him of his parents fighting and him and Mirage often in the elders room, Mirage comforting him for the loud sounds. So, when two people fight at base for no apparent reason, he holds his hands over his ears, unable to contain stability of his mind at all, the only thing that calms him down is music. If they don't stop agreeing around five minutes, he'll go off on them and run away to his room.

• Smokey is really book smart, but his Dad didn't like him being a 'genius' so he made him hide it.

• Smokey doesn't curse/doesn't like cursing

• Smokey is left-handed and everyone gets irritated trying to read his handwriting. He bonds with Remix when he meets him on Griffin Rock when he finds that he is too, left-handed

• Smokey has a very nice singing voice. He sings in the morning and it annoys some of the bots (Arcee and Ratchet) Bulkhead and Optimus don't seem to mind it and when Bumblebee gets his voice back, they'll sing duets when he stays over at Griffin Rock

• Smokey likes routine. He likes to work out in the morning to get started in the day. During this time he'll wear his headphones and work out to music. He'll also do this when he's stressed out.

• Smokey is scared to say no to his father. Mirage is aware of this and will often stand up for his brother. When they were younger and Mirage wasn't around, he was on his own. He grew up being terrified of him. His father often favored Mirage over him as well, just because Mirage was born a sire mech, and Smokey was born a carrier mech. Their father will often yell at Smokey just because of this reasoning.

Breakdown [Prime]

- You always climb up onto him and he doesn't exactly mind - But one day you slip so he just pushed you up a little to help and-- - " What happened?! " - Genuine alarmed watching you fall back into his servo in what appears to be shock - He knew he was strong but not THAT strong - Thinks he snapped your spine, poor mech - After finding out he is too traumatized to do it again - Avoids it whenever he can, does like it even if you are okay - Really he just wants to know you are safe and comfortable

Smokescreen [Prime]

- Found out through some video he saw about humans and ticklishness - Knows full well what is about to happen but still got scared and didn't expect such a reaction - There's a recording now of him sneaking up on you, tickling you, and then an auditable yell of fear from him as your fist is thrown in direction of the camera - Cuts off like that, horrifying - The videos didn't say a violent reaction was possible!!! - You have to apologize, and explain that its just reflex - He now thinks its cool that you instinctively attack - Tricks Bee into getting decked

Wheeljack [Prime]

- He was just buffing out some new tools of his he had made, and jokingly places the soft spinning cushion against you to scare you - What he didn't expect was for you to fall into a fit of giggles and squeaks - He yells for ratchet and ponders what that emergency number was - " Its okay! I'm- I'm fine! calm down haha " - You calmly tell Ratchet everything is fine and scold Wheeljack - " How was I supposed to know? " - I mean you were struggling for air for primus sakes! - He doesn't know much about humans, he had to assume the worst - You had never seen him so panicked - But you both managed to get a laugh out of it in the end

- He loves you to death, and knows you have other ways of showing that you are happy - But that isn't to say he doesn't try! The best feeling is when you do, and he can count those times on his digits - When he joined team prime and you both met, he used to be all puppy eyes with you and assumed you to be boring or some other stuck up bot around here - It was also insanely funny to him how uncomfortable the 'cons got when you stared at them with those demon optics - If you ever have a fight, he tapes a paper over your mouth with a smile on it - You find it really endearing but will shred that paper and act otherwise - It does break all the tension though so I SUPPOSE it works - The day he asked you to be his conjunx was the very first time he had seen you smile and laugh at once, and he replays the audio all the time when he can't see you - Every time he says that he loves you, he doesn't see it, but a smile tugs at your lips once he looks away

- You know how I mentioned you death stare cons? - Once they had Smokescreen captive and no one believes him when he says the vehicon died when you looked at him with such malice - That's because it isn't true, he didn't see the silent bullet you shot - But now he gets really scared when you look angrier than usual and sucks up to you with hugs and smooches - " I didn't mean it I swear! " - " Smokescreen it's o- " - " Don't strain your voice sweetspark... I deserve your silent wrath " - You almost feel bad but he fueled this on his own sooooo - If you ever smile at something that isn't him or caused by him it is a personal offense - He actually acts like the world is over - " To Ratchet? really? " - " He just attached my arm back to my torso " - Such a dork sometimes, really, but he just cares a lot
