Headcanon request!!

For Wheeljack -What reminds Wheeljack of Hot Shot? -What's a strange habit Wheeljack has? -What's something small that bothers Wheeljack?

For Clematis -What reminds Clematis of her twin? -What's something Clematis likes to do when she is alone and has free time? -What is a pet peeve Clematis has?

For Nightshroud -What reminds Nightshroud of her twin? -Are there things Nightshroud likes about the Earth? -What's something Nightshroud wishes others knew about her?

Wheeljack

- There’s a bunch of things that remind Wheeljack of Hot Shot. Sunflowers, sunsets, infernos, racing, turtles… It’s a pretty long list.

- Wheeljack doesn’t consider it strange by any means, but every once in a while he likes to start a fire just to watch something burn. Never to a destructive level though.

- Something that bothers Wheeljack is how easy it is for bots to abandon one another.

Clematis

- Pretty much everything. The sky, planes, resting in berth (they used to snuggle together), books, seeing another bot feeling anxious..

- Be sad Clematis likes to watch tv shows and movies when she’s alone.

- One of Clematis’ pet peeves is when someone instantly jumps to the ‘Decepticons are terrible and shouldn’t be trusted, no exceptions’ mindset. She knows that some of them truly are evil, but not all of them are and deserve a second chance.

Nightshroud

- Lots of things, but her list isn’t as long as Clematis’. Flowers and floral scents, massages, Autobots, Tangled

- Nightshroud isn’t as familiar with what Earth has to offer, but she really enjoys sunrises.

- Nightshroud will never admit it, but she wishes people knew that she masks her fear with anger. It’s not that she’s angry with everyone (except Cyclonus she hates him for the cackling), but rather she’s afraid to let anyone in because she’s afraid of being hurt again. Demolishor’s a lucky one.

Breakdown [Prime]

- You always climb up onto him and he doesn't exactly mind - But one day you slip so he just pushed you up a little to help and-- - " What happened?! " - Genuine alarmed watching you fall back into his servo in what appears to be shock - He knew he was strong but not THAT strong - Thinks he snapped your spine, poor mech - After finding out he is too traumatized to do it again - Avoids it whenever he can, does like it even if you are okay - Really he just wants to know you are safe and comfortable

Smokescreen [Prime]

- Found out through some video he saw about humans and ticklishness - Knows full well what is about to happen but still got scared and didn't expect such a reaction - There's a recording now of him sneaking up on you, tickling you, and then an auditable yell of fear from him as your fist is thrown in direction of the camera - Cuts off like that, horrifying - The videos didn't say a violent reaction was possible!!! - You have to apologize, and explain that its just reflex - He now thinks its cool that you instinctively attack - Tricks Bee into getting decked

Wheeljack [Prime]

- He was just buffing out some new tools of his he had made, and jokingly places the soft spinning cushion against you to scare you - What he didn't expect was for you to fall into a fit of giggles and squeaks - He yells for ratchet and ponders what that emergency number was - " Its okay! I'm- I'm fine! calm down haha " - You calmly tell Ratchet everything is fine and scold Wheeljack - " How was I supposed to know? " - I mean you were struggling for air for primus sakes! - He doesn't know much about humans, he had to assume the worst - You had never seen him so panicked - But you both managed to get a laugh out of it in the end

whose words echo in your muse's head when they're alone?

Wheeljack actually hears the words of a few bots depending on his mood. Sometimes it's Megatron, sometimes Hot Shot... but on rare occasion it's Rodimus.

what has your muse achieved just to prove they could?

That he could make a name for himself and not be recognized for his past and family.

what reward keeps your muse going when nothing else does?

Sheer determination and living out of spite.

what burden does your muse carry without complaint?

Regret for his choices. Wheeljack may have forgiven Hot Shot, but he's a Decepticon now and serves Megatron. The warlord has a tight grip on him, and Wheeljack owes him a debt he'll never be able to repay. Simply abandoning the Decepticons isn't an option, but at this point of time he has no intention of returning to the Autobots. He knows that Hot Shot wasn't responsible for that day now, but there's still Autobot command that was.

He doesn't know it yet, but that'll change one day. He'll return to the Autobots under his original name - Inferno.

what emotional process takes your muse the longest to work through?

For Wheeljack it's resentment. He carries that with him for a long time, and it's not easy for him to get over. It took a long time for him to get past his beef with Hot Shot and had mostly gotten over it by the time they'd met back up on Earth.

Rodimus, however, was deeper and more personal. Wheeljack still holds resentment toward his brother even now. Yes he wanted out of his brother's shadow to be his own bot and live his own life, but that didn't mean he hated Rodimus. What really sinched it was Rodimus abandoning Cybertron with his crew. He didn't just abandon the Autobots to continue the fight with the Decepticons - now minus a great commander.

He left Wheeljack behind, too.

That's part of why he was so quick to blame Hot Shot for abandoning him in that inferno.

What is Hotshots reaction when Wheeljack reformats to Inferno?

A bit of a spoiler for a fic I'm working on, but he'll be surprised and excited. I imagine Hot Shot probably wouldn't put two and two together until he actually hears Inferno speak, mostly because Inferno wants to make it a big surprise.

The hardest part is keeping everyone else quiet until Inferno gets to make his big reveal XD

Abandonment

Both from Hot Shot and from Rodimus. It plagues his mind if he goes too far down the rabbit hole, thinking about how things could've changed if he'd only said or done something different - if they had said or done something different...

He's learning to forgive Hot Shot, but he doesn't know if he can say the same for his brother.
