Tutorial: Smoking Effect

Hey!

This tutorial if for anyone who wants to give a smoking effect in a photo. I am going to use Photoshop but I’m sure you can get the same effect on other photo editing software.

Lets get started then :D

For this edit we will be using photoshop :)

Open up photoshop and the image you want to edit.(I’m using Channing Tatum)

Step One: Finding your images.

Go on google and find your photo.Choose your favourite photo and save the image in a file you can remember.

Find your image and open up your image in photoshop.

Step Two: Adding Smoke

Now you need to find your Smoke. There are some smoke pngs you can use here or you can find your own. Find your smoke png,save it and using the place on photoshop open it up in the same document as your image.

To use place go to File > Place > Choose Your Smoke >Open Then Click Enter

Now on your smoke later lick Ctrl + T and resize your smoke to fix when you want the smoke to come from, the smoke im using is from the nose so il going to place it there but you can use it where ever.

Now set the smoke layer to screen

and you done :) Its really is that simple. if you want to you can add a cigarette in there hand but you don’t have too. Also you can add tattoos to the edit to if you don’t know how to then go here. 

All you have to do now it add your tumblr url and a psd and it will be finished. Just zoom back out and click File on the upper menu, scroll down and click Save for web. :)

Smoking in pregnancy cuts child's good cholesterol

Mothers who smoke while pregnant are causing changes to their unborn babies that can lead them to have less of a type of cholesterol known to protect against heart disease, scientists said on Tuesday.

In a study in the European Heart Journal, Australian researchers found that by the age of eight, children born to mothers who smoked in pregnancy had lower levels of HDL cholesterol, at around 1.3 millimoles per liter (mmol/L), than those born to mothers who hadn't smoked, with about 1.5 mmol/L.

High-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol is often referred to as "good" cholesterol and is known to play an important role in protecting against atherosclerosis, where fatty materials collect along the walls of arteries, thickening and eventually blocking them, leading to heart problems and heart attacks.
