This is the longer version of a new edit that I'm also sharing on Instagram and TikTok!

Smosh and Bit City have, once again, shown a little segment that involves stock photos of travel destinations, a green screen and a dream. Just like with the Tinky-Winky commercial sketch, I, of course, had to make it into a reality.

bailey said on reddit that she's not only doing production for two hot takes, but also editing (which she went to school for) and social media management. i think smosh has a lot of personnel and it's hard for employees to branch out like that inside the company. that might have something to do with why it didn't work out there.

I'm just happy she seems happy!

Bailey is on Two Hot Takes now, confirmed by the host Morgan in the comments on their most recent video. I’m happy for Bailey and the support she seems to be getting from the comment section, and I think we all like friend-of-the-show Morgan and the Two Hot Takes show in general.

But in the comment section someone was asking if it was in fact Bailey from Smosh, and Morgan responded “yesss met her on set of another show and it didn’t work out so now here she is.” That really could mean anything, like with the studio move Bailey wanted to be somewhere with an easier commute (I have friends in LA and this is MORE than a valid reason to switch jobs) but I don’t know, the way Morgan worded it seems so negative.

I hope the cast of THT and the fans give her all the love and support she deserves, and I hope this is a good change for her with no bad juju behind it!

I understand they can’t do it for every new employee, especially as they hopefully expand their workforce, but I wish Smosh has made some kind of announcement when they hired Anders. Or had him on Smosh Mouth or something. I feel like such a high position - especially once that is so prevalent “on” camera - would warrant literally any announcement. Instead some random new dude suddenly started appearing in videos and we had to be like “oh I guess they found Alex’s replacement”
