Phil had been sitting on top of the chest for a little while now, running over the events of the conversation with Tubbo in his head. Of course, he didn’t mean for it to go the way it did, but he couldn’t get through to him.

It wasn’t like he could just up and tell Tubbo every fucking motivation and event that led up to his decision.

But regardless, he was ready for perhaps a more lighthearted interaction. And hopefully some tea before he loses his mind right here on this chest and surrounded by little shinys and a pink flower. So Phil waited, watching the entrances to the community house with stormy gray eyes for the Monarch that would be meeting him.

Isn’t that fucking ironic? He couldn’t help but laugh a little at himself for the nonsense of the situation.

He couldn’t help but hope that maybe the interaction will go better this time.
