He's BORED. He & Dude had their 56th explosive argument. & yes, it ended up with Demon getting shot again. Obviously, it's time to leave the little crybaby alone for a while. So now he's sulking in a restaurant all by his lonesome self with nothing to do. He almost considers killing everyone in the building & pinning it on Dude. Bastard deserves it.

But no, no . . . he forces himself to cool down. No need to make a scene. Slaughtering a roomful of humans is too easy. That makes it like blowing your load too early: Great for about three seconds, but then you're standing there, disappointed by how fast it went.

Actually, thinking about blowing loads, that's when he spots a gorgeous patron. A little country, sure. But she's just his type. ( He clearly needs to get over his unhealthy addiction to gingers, but today is not that day. )

The Demon strolls her way, alcoholic drink in hand, a wicked grin on his face.

It was funny how mankind still thought they ruled the earth, that they called the shots and had a say in fate of animals that lived far longer than even Henry gathered humans would last on the face of the earth. Dinosaurs now roamed the earth thanks to John Hammond's dream and the failure of Jurassic World's ambition to meet guest expectations on what had been a successful version of the original Park. Henry had yet to actually see a dinosaur in person but today that was changing as the truck reached a ranch, where reports of herds were being rounded up in order to be moved within a sanctuary on protected land.

He was a Paleontologist yes, but he still had a great knowledge when it came to these ancient animals - still though with the team that he was put on there was a Veterinarian who had actually worked in Jurassic World, as well as two wranglers who worked close once with Owen Grady on his land. Getting out of the truck, Henry gathered his bags and slung one over his shoulders following his group up to the head of the ranch - his eyes though immediately went to the source of a certain sound. A parasaurolophus, a younger one by the size of her who looked like she had a bit of a limp - it made him frown at the sight, and without even noticing he walked over to the fence watching her. She seemed so sad and he could only guess what may have happened given many people in the word hunted these animals like they did any other animals.

He was pretty much 𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐖𝐄𝐃 if she presented a weapon of her own. “Now why don’t you get on your way — or grab whatever you need from in there,” Pausing momentarily to gesture over at the station with his free hand, Deacon then offered her a tight lipped 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄 that lacked in the friendly department. “and leave before things get ugly?”

"I am afraid that we don't, actually." Valen offers the other a small, but still warm sort of smile. His human glamour hiding the fae beneath. "I thought I should like to change that, though."

Fae came in and out of the city for various reasons, but he made it a point to look in on them, to see if they were friend or foe to The Liath, or at the very least, indifferent. The Seelie and Unseelie courts were always looking for him and the entryway into his own court. He could never be too careful, not wanting any harm to come to his people.

"I sensed your magic, you see...." There's a brief pause. "Are you here on court business?" He asked, eyebrows raised ever so slightly.

He can feel the anger coming off of her in waves as she approaches him. The fire in her eyes burning with rage to strike the man who had offended her. Shane cant help but to stifle a laugh with his fist, and only because she looks so adorable when she's angry. "You sure you dont want me to hit him for ya?" He asks once he's able to pull himself together.
