Day 5: Favourite One-Off Character

Snacky

~ Snacky is an automated snack dispenser droid, scavenged from an abandoned space station by the Red Dwarf crew. Initially mistaken for a highly advanced medi-bot, Snacky (despite being a simple snack dispenser) soon proved itself to be a brilliant engineer, capable of creating a time portal in an elevator. Current whereabouts are unknown, but it's likely that Snacky is still wandering around Red Dwarf, dispensing snacks and wisdom.

The outside of that crust is called the horny layer

The stratum corneum (Latin for 'horny layer') is the outermost layer of the epidermis.
