Hello followers! It’s been awhile since I’ve made a major post like this but as you can see I’ve been busy in my laboratory cooking up some beasties. I introduced these guys awhile back but now here’s a proper introduction…

SNAGGLEBOOTS! The Beasts for your feets! Meet(in order of appearance) Snaggle, Cheshire, Crypt and Felidae :) Snaggleboots are parasites with an affinity for shoes. They’ll latch on and form a symbiotic relationship with the wearer. You wear the shoes and they can survive by nibbling and eating anything you walk by that they want. Some form eyes, others don’t bother, it’s all up to each parasite’s personality.

Why do I bring them up? Well on top of being a labor of love, I will be putting up 3 of the listed sets up for Adoption(via auction). As well as forming an order list to make custom sets! Whoever gets on the list soon they will be ready in time for Halloween!

Who’s up for Adoption? Cheshire - shoe size is a Women’s 8. It has a total of about 108 teeth and hand made resin eyes that tend to follow whoever’s watching.

Crypt - shoe size is a Women’s 8. It sprouted multiple sized eyes and sports an off to the side grin. Eyes are resin and hand made and it sports around 68 teeth total in the set.

Felidae - shoe size is a Women’s 7. Eyeless and sleek. It has a total of about 56 teeth and lots of drool. Always vicious and hungry.

How sturdy are they? The teeth and sculpted bits are coated and glazed in heavy duty resins. I have walked in them and have tested to make sure they don’t fall apart with casual wear. That being said, they are still works of art. I don’t recommend kicking anything or running marathons in them. They are costume pieces. They are also just as water proof as your average shoe. You don’t want to swim in them but rain or puddles won’t damage them.

Where can I get them? The Auction listings will go up on Ebay by the end of the weekend. And they will ship the moment the auctions close and payment is complete. If you’re interested in ordering a custom set, there will be limited preorder listings posted on Etsy starting tonight. As I complete orders more slots will open up. I can guarantee Halloween delivery if you order early. Though I can’t guarantee it for International orders(sorry guys!)

So the Snaggleboots have gotten some attention and I want to say thanks for all the kind words! :D have some close ups of their drooly mugs :3 I'm considering making some custom pairs and possibly making some special ones to throw up into auction. If you're interested keep an eye out on my blog or send me a message ;) These guys are super fun to make and I'd love to see others enjoy having some goofy feet!
