You never really got into the Lisa Frank craze but you did like the colorfulness, albeit the saturated colors were a bit too much for your liking, so you opted for pastels. ESPECIALLY so after you stumbled across MLP and other similar shows.

You're also a furry but you're just now fully dipping your toes on "classical" anthro designs, your forte lies more on silly little guys. Anything your pen/stylus/brush touches gets the cute-ification treatment, even series like JoJo.

You have to keep in mind that just because the sinister-looking concept art looks cooler it doesn’t mean it’s automatically better. The final product’s quality is questionable, but the book it was based on was by no means dystopic, it just had a bittersweet ending. Making the movie darker wouldn’t have necessarily made it better.

I know, like I said I do still love the movie, and no one can actually predict how well it would’ve been received if parts of it were changed. I just wanted to have fun imagining a darker dystopian thneedville for a bit and share my personal preferences and opinions, and not have them be taken so seriously.

and the book not being dystopic is irrelevant because i was talking about the thneedville plot, which isn’t in the book. since illumination decided to make ted have a romantic interest, why not give that relationship more substance by making up AUs and headcanons! :>
