Just learned about the shark eye snail on inat. HOW can its body possibly work that way??

do you ever think it’s interesting how: snails are significant disease vectors in the way of being intermediate hosts for many parasites - and the transmission of these diseases through snail mucus etc. leads to more than 200,000 deaths yearly and yet,
no one tells you to kill yourself for drawing a picture of a snail or says you’re an inconsiderate bastard who’s likely never been outside because you talk about the environmental importance of snails (the kind of energy which is given to you for speaking about less beloved disease vectors like mosquitoes 🦟)
