As a snake owner, one of the funniest things I get to do in life is explain to people who are less versed in reptiles that snakes (at least ball pythons) do, in fact, fart, and watch their reactions as they process that

Hypnovember Day 2: Coils
When I write an induction that makes sense to me, at least. And also my two characters. So that’s 3? (When I write out inductions the way I would say them sometimes they turn out marvelously incoherent. I actually tidied this one up to make occasional sentence breaks. if you can believe it.)
The big ol’ noodle on the left is Honey, the largest of the education ambassadors I used the work with. On the right is a much younger Burmese, Tarzan.
Tarzan is the sweetest and was my snake that I ended up giving to the wildlife center on permanent loan. This way I can still visit him whenever I want, but he can continue being an amazing ambassador and teaching students about snakes and reptiles and wildlife conservation! It was a tough choice, but I think the best decision for him. He has already grown a bit since this photo was taken a couple months ago!

Ba-teall doesn’t like the cold months and naturally curls up to closest heat he can. Nea warm body easily settles the snake to sleep.
Hey look it’s me! It’s been a hot minute since the last time I used tumblr. I’ve decided to try and get back on the horse and try it out again. I want to have a nice blogging outlet where I can also get a little more involved with the reptile and conservation community on tumblr.
My life has changed quite a bit since last time I made a post. Today is my 1 year wedding anniversary, and I will definitely be posting a couple photos from the wedding because it involved a lot of alligators and snakes. Just last month I started a new job at an amazing aquarium where I am a Tours supervisor. Once I am done training I will be helping to run our behind the scenes and tours experiences, as well as assisting in developing new ones. I’m VERY excited. Not to mention, I get to work in a building with a lot of really cool critters.
Anyways, I would love to get some good reptile, animal, zoo/aquarium, wildlife conservation, encvironmental science, etc blogs to follow!
