It occurs to me that snakes are similar to badgers in that they will rack up debts. But of course not in the same way. Badgers keep track of balance sometimes - favors owed, favors given.

Snake debt is more like sleep debt (Sigh, my 1am brain is laughing at me) Snakes evaluate new people they meet and place them on preliminary tiers. If someone triggers a Snake's internal warnings, it can take a long time for that person to work their way into another tier and make up the debt of bad actions. Similarly it can take a lot for a close tier person to run out their "credit" of being in the top tier before they start to get pushed away

so uh, snake things, that would be hilarious (or nightmarish) to apply to Crowley (maybe)

Snake Teeth! so I’ve seen some things saying hes got “snake teeth” but really they’d be less like Sexy Vampire Teeth and more like a shattered nightmare chandelier hanging in his mouth (when grumpy does he get nippy? does aziraphale have little snake bite scars?)

Can? His? Jaws? Open? Like? That? (the flexibility, the ligamented lower jaw.........)

forgets to chew food, swallows whole. indigestion. (lmao)

Shedding? does he transfigure shed? does he ever shed? if he stays in snake form too long does he shed? and eat a snake diet? (also picture him in snake form, slithered up in his bedroom,  v v v v v v  grumpy having created a humid den for himself because he went into shed during a nap)

Taste and Smell? snakes’ sense of taste and smell all jumbled together and use their cute lil tongue to flick small particles back into their jacobson's organ to taste and smell their surroundings (for prey, to sense predators) This also functions perfectly underwater as well.

Can his heart migrate around his body?

Only one lung?

Periscoping of course (snake form? cute! human form? i’m scared!!)

Sensitive belly scales, also very sensitive to vibrations (is he ticklish?)

Bad eyesight. Forgets to blink (dry eyes lmao)

Inhumanly flexible spine (also lends to how he drapes himself across things and the undulating walk)

Polyphyodontic??

Habit of basking, laying about in warm spots. Gets cold very easily, needs outside warmth to regulate body temperature. 

Enjoys baths for extraordinary periods of time. 

Hugs (when disposed to touching anyone, which would be RARE) too tight.

Long long longg naps after eating

i'm a bit of a font snob and i'm not sure i like any of these
