This is a really cute prompt. I hope you enjoy this dear! I ended up doing a mix of both of you don’t mind.~| SinbadThe sea salt sprayed your face as you balanced yourself on the wooden railing that meant safety upon a wooden vessel or fatal drowning if they were to end up on the other side of it. For you, it didn’t mean a difference since you could easily survive submerged in water or above land. Being a nymph meant you could survive as long as you had your necklace with a vial of your original lake water to take with you. It was a superstition, but you wouldn’t risk it reguardless. You would listen to the dungeon spirits that told you to take some water from home before you set out to help the young dungeon capturer. The Djinn that offered your help to the young man with people hair and gold eyes that spoke of Destiny’s waves, also told you to take some water with you as well. You had no idea on how you could help this boy, but the way he glowed had you helplessly captivated by his brilliance. You were the favorite nymph that Valefor enjoyed being around, causally asking you to run small errand for him in the dungeon. How you would take care of the butterflies that devoured the flesh of whomever was unlucky enough to enter into the frozen palace. Valefor enjoyed having you keep him company by how you were the only one of his creations that had developed a conscience, thoughts, and everything that made a human being a human being. Though you weren’t completely human; you were apart of water and ice as much as your creator controlled such aspects. Finally hopping of the railing you fixed your clothing, beautiful crafted silks that never got in the way of your daily activities or human practices during your journey with your creator’s master, before joining the small company of males back to the Empire of Reim. Rurumu will leave with Jafar, Pipirika and Hinahoho and their and son beforehand, leaving you too travel with Sinbad, Mystras and young Masrur to follow suite afterwards.Over the course of many life and death situations, your heart began to beat faster and faster in your chest the moment your eyes land on the young dungeon capturer. ‘Those are romantic feelings _____, often at the person who holds them over you.’ you could Valefor’s voice in your head as he gleefully sang, ‘You have feelings for Sinbad.’“Oh hush master Valefor, I do not.” You muttered out loud under your breathe because of you admitted out loud then it would be true. A wish given life if voiced by the one who denied it’s existence to begin with. Your companions turned to look at you in varying degrees of concern. No doubt Masrur had heard exactly what you had said since his instincts were more developed than Mystras’s and Sinbad’s. 'But you wish he knew how you truly felt.' your mind whispered in your conscience.Shaking your head you sent your companions a soft smile to ease their worry and raised your hands up in mock surrender, "Please, do not worry about me, I was merely lost in thought." You reassured as you maintained eye contact with them until the nodded their head and continued to lead the way to their home base - well, technically, your home - in Reim. "I just want to make sure someone as beautiful as you, ______, was not bothered by something that could be easily fixed." His voice caused your heart to beat like thunder; unpredictable and uncontrollable. His lips curled up into a smile as he offered you a hand to lead you to the roof top of the base of operations. When did Mystras and Masrur leave you both alone? It's as if he read your mind, "I had Mystras walk Masrur walk back to the trading company without us. I hope you don't mind." He hoped as he did his best to tread lightly around you as he didn't wish to make you uncomfortable and frighten of him. He knew you weren't completely human; the glowing ring around your eyes spoke otherwise, but you looked mostly like any other person he had met. "Masrur was a bit worried about you, heard you muttering to yourself about something that could be bothering you since the ship ride back." Sinbad explained himself and didn't want to jump to conclusions of his friends and companions, but you were different. You were someone special to him."I... Thank you Sinbad." Your voice was low and soft, reminding him of ocean waves lapping at the shore, "There has been something bothering me as of late, but it isn't such a big deal compared to you wishing to change the world." Your voice wavered a bit as you did your best to take your mind off of hard your heart hammered against your ribcage. He grasped your hands with his as his golden eyes stared into your soul, "Don't belittle what is giving you so much grief _____. Your one of my friends and I rather you told me what is distracting you instead of bottling up your problems." His voice betrayed how he truly felt, how he viewed you much more than a friend would be concerned for another friend. "Please tell me what is on your mind." He pleaded with a desperate hunger that longed for an answer.Feeling his breathe brush against your skin caused blood to flow faster throughout your body. The tips of your ears burned as you tried to clear your throat since it suddenly felt difficult to speak. Why couldn't you speak? Why couldn't you even form a single thought now?"I....The reason why I am so...." It was now or never. It was time to admit the truth that you had been denying yourself. Were his hands always this warm? Keeping your eyes on your clasped hands you closed your eyes and decided to tell the truth, "I never thought that I would leave the dungeon my creator, Valefor, created in all my time of creation." Taking a deep breathe you focused and allowed your shoulders to relax and grip onto his hands tighter, "I never believed Valefor would allow me to leave the dungeon, or if he would ever find a master to follow. But you," you looked into his eyes and smiled, "You were able to best my master and change the flow of destiny. Following you allowed me to see the world and meet many people in these travels. I was even able to make friends and form friendships with various humans that i never would believe to be possible. And during this time, I even felt my heart start to beat whenever I think about, look at, or even speak to this person."Sinbad felt his heart beat faster. What if this person wasn't him? What if this person was someone that he never saw you talk to? What if you only saw him as a friend and decided to confide with him because you only saw him as a friend?"The person who stole my heart, as Valefor stated, was none other than you, Sinbad. I know you might not return my feelings because I'm not human, but I wished for you to know my emotions. If you are uncomfortable, then I'll keep my distance." Your hands started to soften their hold on Sinbad's and take a step back to walk away. Before you could walk away, Sinbad softly gripped your wrist in his hand, "Please _____, give me a moment to accept your confession." He begged as he held your chin between your forefinger and thumb, "It seems that the only person who could hold my heart in their hands, would be you."
