Time to get warm and cozy.

This was it - my last melancholy glimpse at Huron for this year. With predictions of big snow closing in us from all directions, we saw a small window of opportunity and made a southbound run for it Saturday morning.

I've already notified our plumber to close the cottage for the winter. We'll miss the place. as always, but take comfort in the fact that the memories we made there over the summer - our 35th on the lake - are perfectly portable.
