my dad used to show me these hawaiian fish card guides when i was a little kid that had soooo many different kinds of fish on each card - this is inspired by those, but a little less crowded!

i'm planning on getting this made as a sticker later this summer and donating some funds from my shop to a hawaiian org! any suggestions for what indigenous led groups to look into?

I’ve actually wanted to try making a leafy seadragon dragon for Ages but never got around to it so thank you for reminding me!! I might come back to fully finish this one & make his funky frills a lot more dramatic but for now here’s the first version

and I just love eels so I tried an eel guy too

An alternate outfit and an icon made by @nodriot that I got a while ago but never posted.

Contrary to popular belief, Spire can barely cook. As an eel, he doesn't even chew but rather swallow, so he prioritizes ease of consumption before taste.

However, as a fisherman, he is damnably good at management!

Were it up to him he'd cook stew and fish gumbo every day, but alas as his once small stall besides the pier grew larger and larger into a sea-side restaurant, the customers started demanding dishes with a much higher degree of complexity.

Every once in a while, though, he likes to test just how far people will give in to FOMO and eat whatever slop he serves, which is the reason why the "seafood ambrosia gelatin" that you can see on the right is even on the menu.
