In the Snowhawk AU, even though the majority of the clan cats accept Snowhawk as a warrior, very few of them believe he'll ever have kits because they believe no cat would want to actively risk having deaf kits.
Shock to everyone when he finds a mate in a loner named Pebbles who joins Thunderclan shortly after having his kits - three she-cats named Spiderkit, Lilykit, and Echokit, and one male named Hawkkit.
None of the kits are deaf, though some cats whisper that Echokit is "defective" because she almost never speaks, and even when she does, it's usually just to repeat something somebody else said.
