Wip Wednesday!!

thanks @angelsfalling16 and @wellbelesbian for tagging me for WIP Wednesday! its technically Thursday because its after midnight but 🥲 here we go!!

first of all, i wanted to show a bit of the process of my (one and only, i know, i'm sorry) brodylove / brobelove piece for the @carry-on-sapphic-week ! we're all so excited for it, i can feel it in the air! this piece is turning out wildly different from the sketch so i wanted to show this before i post the finished product so i can see how much it changed 👀

as for writing, ive been trying to work on some ficlets to grow a habit of writing and not making a big deal out of short fics and stuff like that; so one project ive focused on is my bigass polycule au, because i love some good old polyam shit. here's a snippet from one of my hurt/comfort pieces! i honestly hope it will be less hurt and more comfort this time, but with my writing... you never know

— I always say no. Every single time.

— Yeah, I know.

— Then why do you keep asking if I want to talk about it?

Shepard shrugs – Simon’s habit is rubbing off on him. On both of them, really.

— I just think… sometime… you might want to talk about it. Need to talk about it, even. And I don’t want you to feel like you can’t come to me just because you’ve said no so many times.— he takes a moment to look up at them, but Baz doesn't say anything – they just look surprised.— You can always come to me if you want to talk. And if you don’t want to talk, too. I know you’re softer than you let on, Baz- It’s okay to seek comfort. It’s okay to want this kind of intimacy.

— Ugh, you sound like my therapist.— they roll their eyes.— It’s so annoying.— but there’s a soft smile on their lips, so Shepard knows they don’t mean it.

and i mean, i did write this today while i was high on anesthesia from my procedure, and now im way too sleepy to have any idea if it's good, but i thought it was worth sharing

last but not least! i don't think i share a lot of devotional pieces and polytheism-related projects on this account, so i wanted to change that for this WIP Wednesday. here's something i've been working on for Helios!

i think its really pretty, even if the sunflowers still need some good work and i havent done basically anything on the winged horse and Helios Himself!
