for this wip wednesday, have a look on one of my most beloved AUs (my golden AU 🥺🥺). i've been writing little scenes for it since i got into the simon snow trilogy and its my baby. that being said, it gets to be bad. its my baby and it centers around snowbaz getting married so its allowed to be cliche and cheesy and inconsistent <33
— I can’t believe I’m behaving like this. It’s ridiculous.
— It’s not!— Baz argues.— It’s just- sentimental. I actually find it endearing.
— He sobbed for an hour.— Penny scoffs.— But yeah, yeah. It’s romantic, whatever the hell that’s supposed to mean.
— Come on, stop being mean.— she rolls her eyes at Shepard.— Simon’s just being emotional. It’s healthy! He cries a lot. He even cries over sandwiches.
— You cry over sandwiches.— Simon mutters.
— I know. I’m just saying, it’s not ridiculous to get a little emotional, especially since we’re talking about getting married. It’s a big thing!
— You know, it’s funny- the way you talk about it makes it sound like you’re included.— Penny giggles, taking a sip out of her glass, then frowns.— Wait. Are you included?
Simon and Shepard exchange a look.
— Shepard. Shepard.— she then turns to Baz, who simply raises an eyebrow.— Gods. Is he included? Basil, are you proposing to my best friend and my partner? I hate you, you know that?
