hey, just like a quick ask about snowwhitegate (if that’s what we’re calling it?)
i felt like will’s jacket actually reminded me more of snow white’s r/b/y dress than the prince? his does look more similar to the prince structure-wise but the striped red collar really reminded me of the red stripes on snow white’s sleeves. the yellow on will feels a lot more prominent than in the prince’s design, too.
what do you think? or am i reaching?
Thanks op for the ask! So in Season 5 I think there is a closer resemblance to Prince Florian, though I recognize why the reds, blues, and yellows give off more Snow White. Snow and Florian were designed to complement each other, so they take on each others colors too. The bands of Snow's sleeves match Florian's pants, the red of her bow and sleeve raindrops match his cape. Even the blue of her bodice is similar to his tunic, albeit darker and more dull.
In Once Upon A Time, the prince (named Prince Charming here) is given a much different outfit. He has a red collar instead of a red cape...
I have some more posts on here somewhere (its a messy blog, fair warning!) but I hope I answered your question 🐠 oh and Will's sleeves, they are yellow/beige like Snow's skirt, but as far as design goes (and not color) they remind me more of Florian's sleeves based on length, fit, and placement with the blue
