You two met because you wanted to ask him a favor, the day you met him you approached to him, with a soft voice and a gentle smile on your face you asked to please created something for your family, Dane, getting a little nervous for you beauty accepted while triping in his own words. Dane accept almost imediatly, not having the heart to say not to you (he is shy to accept it but how cute you are is a factor important) but as he return to his work place he just reliced that he already has a lot of work to do and this just put more pressure on him
After some days you decided to pay a visit to him, wondering how he was doing with the work, as you get into his work place Dane greeted you with a smile and yet you could notice how messy he and his study was (and if his little brother Nikola was there he will confirm how much Dane has been working, but he say it proudly). You feel bad for putting so much pressure on him so you apologized to him for asking him so much, to what he imediatly try to reasure that is alright and he is fine! It quickly become a coming and going from mutual apologies until Dane accepted to have you around so you could help him, at least a little
From that day a beautiful friendship started to grow without even noticing it, it felt so natural for both that non of you noticed until you two were spending almost all day together. Everything started because you wanted to help him so you came to his study more frecuently, sometimes you just help him have the study and his ideas organized, other times you tried to ask him what he were working on and Dane always explain what he is doing with a bright smile, but when he realice that you aren't understanding him or even he had confused you he just laughs softly and apologize before explaining it in a easier and simpler way
Dane quickly get used to your presence, so much that the days you don't pay him a visit or are taking so long to came he start wondering where you could be and what are you doing, constantly distracted by his thoughts, he gets so distracted that almost all the time is Nikola who has to bring him back to work again (making Dane feel embarrassed in the process)
No matter how much time it pass your kindness never fails at making Dane smile and feel his chest and cheeks warm, kindness isn't something he isn't used to but it feels like if when comes from you were something special, but is your gentleness what always flustered him and make his heart go faster, every time you touch him, even for accident, or when you hold something (like what he is working on) is obvious that you do it with a lot of gentleness, like if you were holding something so precious and fragile and yet special for you, is something that always make Dane feel special
As well, as your friendship grows it becomes more and more common not just for you to pay him a visit on his study but also look after his well-being, constantly bringing some snacks and water for him (and Nikola for when he is there) so he doesn't forget to eat and drink water while working, also you start reminding him a lot to take breaks, even if is just talking to you about anything special or sometimes (when he is working a little to hard or start to stress out too much) you drag him out of the study to have little adventures, you had drag him to watch the clouds and feel the soft breeze, to watch the beautiful flowers that had just grow nearby, to take a walk around the village or even just to run in the field just because is funny
Dane was already incredibly happy and grateful for what you do for him, but you had also expressed how you admire his work and understand his passion towards it and with that Dane's heart almost stop, amused and flustered for how sweet you can be, he doesn't know what he did to deserve someone so amazing in his life but he is grateful for it, he just hopes that he will be able to make you as happy as you make him one day somehow
