So with this young Nikola backstory we got last month alongside Dane apparition, i wonder if the idea of a little wingman Tesla trying to help the older brother with a first love reader could end up as another one of those wholesome platonic headcanons you wrote, just like the one about beel, tesla and reader friendship or the one with a child reader as beel first friend.

𝆹𝅥 Dane & Nikola Tesla (SHUUMATSU NO VALKYRIE)
Dane is know around all the village as a great inventor and everyone go to him to ask for help, and Dane is really kind he is always up to help others. It won't be a surprise that you already know of him, and for him to meet you could be either because you to bump into each other on the village or because approached to him to ask for help
At first he just was just being polite and kind as always, but it doesn't take long for him to start to have a crush on you, maybe it was for how beautiful you are, maybe the kindness you always treat him with (even for you two being just kids), maybe for how you care about him, he just can't find the reason but he doesn't think he need a reason to like you (if you are interested on his work and studies that will just make him fall in love in harder)
Maybe he doesn't get it at first (or is too shy to admit it) but what Dane feels for you is a pure an inocent love, make other happy with what he does makes him happy, but he wants to make you happy specially, every time he has the opportunity he tries to talk to you (although he does not always succeed) about whatever you want, about you or him, his work, whatever, he is just excited to talk to you and still he can't help but get shy, he sutter or trip on his words from time to time with a slighly blush on his cheeks
Nikola had noticed how his brother had been more distracted while in the Geometry Zone and he gets worried but when he ask him Dane just get flustered and try to brush it off, so while trying to find out what is on his brother mind he probably see the two of you walking around one or two times or he had catch Dane admiring you from a distance, maybe he has just 5 years but he is pretty smart too so he imediatly knows that he is interested on you
Nikola try to talk with his brother first, asking him about his new friend but Dane gets nervous in an instant, blushing like crazy and stuttering he tries to just brush it off, but his reaction just make Nikola more and more intriged, what lead him to ask more leaving Dane with no other option than just admit that he likes you (or maybe he just say that he wants to be close to you as a friend because, he is shy to admit his crush)
Little Nikola in all his childish innocence tell his brother to just go to you and ask you to be close, but Dane is not confidence in himself, he can't just go to you an start a conversation without stuttering and blush, he even start to doubt that you will like to even be his friend you probably were just being polite with him
Nikola had never liked seeing his brother doubting himself like this and he always wants to help him in any way he can, so this time it wasn't going to be an exception. If his brother can't just go and talk to you then maybe he can! saying to his brother that he has an idea before running outside of Geometry Zone without even explaining his plan to Dane, leaving him confused and worried
Nikola runs around the village until he finally find you, approaching to you with a lot of confidence and he ask for become your friend, since you are his brother's friend he wants to become your friend too (it could sound a little arrogant if he wasn't smiling so excited and inocent), that is how you two end up passing the rest of the day together
It could be that Dane end up going out to search for Nikola since he had go away without explaining himself and then he found the two of you together, or that at the end of the day when Nikola return to his house he tells to Dane about what he had done, in either case Dane will be pretty embarrassed
From then Nikola promised to his brother to help him to get close to you (even when Dane insist that he shouldn't doesn't have to), and don't take much time for him to like you too (platonically, obviously), quickly becoming your friend too, it doesn't matter too much if you are extrovert or introvert because Nikola is a energetic kid and he has no problem with being the one talking, also for him is not a problem if you are busy or have free time he can follow you around and even try to help you with whatever you have to do (that end up being pretty cute to see since he is just 5 years old)
Little Nikola tries to help his brother by talking about him, he spends a lot of time telling you stories about how smart Dane is, all the things he had teach him and about how amazing big bother he is! Although most of the time the conversation ends up changing course to whatever is in Nikola's mind (or yours too) and mainly end up being about all the things he learn of science and how interested he is on it, and if you are interested on it too or ask him more about it you will become one of his favorite people in no time (you will become one of his favorites either way, but being interested in science just make it faster)
That lead Nikola to talk a lot about you, (specially to Dane of course) he spends a lot of time telling his brother about you and all the things you two had done (just like he had done to you about Dane), like the all playing or chating (making his brother flustered and blushy in the process because he keeps telling him how amazing his crush is), Dane is embarrassed of how his little brother get close to his crush first but at the same time is happy for his little brother to have an amazing friend
It become pretty common that whenever Nikola isn't with his brother he is with you, however he never forget about his main goal to help his brother to get closer to you, but since his brother still gets shy whenever he tries to get close to you Nikola make a plan (with all his childish innocence again) he tell you about the Geometry Zone (but he says that is a secret between you three) and invite you over since there is where he and his brother always work
Nikola was so excited to show you that special place and because with this his brother will finally get closer to you that he totally forgot to at least notify him of his plan. Dane doesn't even suspect anything when Nikola came, excited as always to be in the Geometry Zone, is until he opens the door that he finally sees you holding Nikola's hand, Dane was so surprised and flustered to see you there that he didn't really pay attention when his brother explain that you were of total confidence and you were interested in science too
He let both come in but once inside he let you wander aroundwhile he ask his little brother what he was trying to do, but Nikola doesn't really understand what he was causing to his brother, he was just excited that you two could get close! Dane wasn't mad, he was just shocked, but even when he get shy and nervous around you he was happy to have you here
From then you where always invited over (and Nikola will insist if you try to decline the offer). Nikola is really excited to be able to hang out with two of his favorite people and Dane was happy to finally get the oportunity to know you better
At first Nikola spend a lot of time showing you everything around, explaining it with details, emphasizing what he like most, Dane tries to calm him down and let you be but if you say that you don't mind or that you actually will be interested then he will let Nikola continue and may even try to explain some of the things himself (still blushing and stuttering though). And every time Dane start to work on something new is all the same
After some time of hanging out in the Geometry Zone Dane start to get more used to your presence and stop getting so shy and blushy, just happening again whenever you compliment him or offer him your help. Also, whenever Dane see how caring you are with Nikola or just by seeing you two together his expression softens and smiles sweetly
Even after some time is thanks to Nikola (or you) that Dane can hang out with you since he still has troubles to have the initiative
