I’m not sure if you have written a similar concept before but recently i’ve been thinking about Terry with beloved who’s in a “phase” of trying to escape, or more so in a way Terry would put it. I imagine he would find this more of a game, a special one between the both of them with him being the predator and beloved as his prey. It’s basically child’s play to him with beloved running around the mansion (that he knows well like the back of his hand) trying to find ways to escape and not knowing he has cameras placed all around the mansion watching them. He might even have those motion cameras that notifies him of any movement that’s caught. The chase is also thrilling and arousing to him, his blood is pumping and he’s nearly shaking with adrenaline and anticipation that’s coursing through his veins, paired with his manic laughter and taunts to beloved truly like a frenzied animal. There’s other times where he’s so quiet you can’t even hear his breathing or foot steps just for him to sneak behind beloved and grabbed them.

Also if beloved somehow managed to escape or leave his sight in public (which is a hard to thing to do) or he’s not able to chase or find them for whatever reason, he would have people on the lookout and being notified when beloved is spotted for him to rush over and take them once again. It’s really nothing to see he’s just claiming his reward, and mentally tallying another win in his books.

And all this being said, Terry Silver might just casually and very calmly sit down in front of his piano and start playing some live music to give beloved a head start and a huge advantage in their little 'game' while the mansion echoes with the sounds of him smashing the keynotes and smiling to himself in a rictus grin, his pores practically burning with excitement and his cheeks red, immersed in some of Liszt's finest compositions while he's fully aware of the fact beloved's sprinting down the hallway even as he waits for his moment to follow suit and join in the hunt, because he's that unfettered and that confident they will ever actually succeed in running away from him in any way that matters.
