your yutamaki infidelity/divorce scenarios are such good concepts. i've been thinking about nobara's place in those situations since you posted.
Aaaaa i've been thinking about it for several days as well 🫡
Adding Nobara in is particularly funny I think because:
- 0 loyalty to Yuta whatsoever. she'd send flowers to their shared apartment the morning after knowing that Yuta will absolutely see them
- she'd be genuinely empathetic to 90% of Maki's issues about being entangled with the Gojo clan, but proceed to routinely put her foot in it by insulting Yuta directly which would, I think, genuinely piss Maki off
- anyone else finding out about this in their wider circle of acquaintances and friends would be both hilarious and apocalyptic levels of awkward for everyone involved. Like what would Megumi think......
- Nobara and Maki's relationship post-canon could be so interesting in its own right because Nobara having to reconcile her image of Maki with post-series Maki, not just because of her physical and emotional changes but also because though Nobara is inspired and fulfilled by her relationships with other women, does that ever translate to anything more than idol worship...? (And does that, in this circumstance, lead to her delusion that Maki will absolutely break things off with Yuta. Because she said she would this time 🥲)
I haven't thought about how Yuta is moving in any of these scenarios I must say... He's sometimes an enigma to me
