i don’t trust the princess OR the narrator
As both a man and a white, I have to disagree with my textbook.
"Kill them with kindness" they say.... Lately I have been questioning where kindness gets you. Now a days people don't appreciate kind people and take advantage. Those that are mean and nasty get a lot further just because that's how it is now a days. I can't be mean however, I am growing tired of being kind especially to those who don't deserve it. I question humanity on a daily basis. My energy is running low and I feel myself becoming numb again, zoning out as I have emotionally checked out.

I just finished watching A Series of Unfortunate Events and I'm seriously dying inside. I've read the book like five times each, so getting to see everything happen is just...so much.

#ineedfeminism
I have a daughter and a son, and I think i’m doing a okay job raising them, but: Reading of what women does to feel safe, what makes them afraid, or just what things are done to promote sales or whatever that are directly or indirectly sexist in essence have led me to this: I NEED FEMINISM. Not for my sake, not even for my wife's sake but for my children's sake. I need to learn, to be educated. I need to see what we men, as a group, are capable of, what we do everyday! I need to open my eyes and realize that women are afraid, and for a reason! THAT misogyny is real! That the world is crooked! I need to learn these truths to be able to help my daughter be the woman she can be, to help her reach her full potential no matter what men tell her. But also to teach my son to be better! To be a person that respects everyone man woman POC LGBT or what ever that may be! Because that is a man, that is a woman, that is a human being! Someone who sees a person, and not their body or or whatever. I have thought a lot about this lately, but today a came across another of these: “but not all men rape, think about that” posts and it hit me harder then before... No my delightfully stupid male friend, not all men do that. I have never done it, and i don’t think i ever will but i am pretty sure that i have done something to violate girls in my younger days. I can’t remember if i did and that is pretty much the problem. I have also been so deep in this that it was “right”, that i can’t be sure if i ever did assault a girl or woman. And i am pretty sure that though i will do what i can to help a victim of these assault, i could think of many excuses why HE did it. And that's why this has to be addressed to all men! Because even though we don’t rape we are all to willing to standby the aggressor instead of condemning him! And i for one want that to chance for the sake of both my son and my daughter
This description of the interview with the vampire comics on Amazon is killing me how can it get so much wrong in such a short amount of words
