I know, I'm not posting like I use to. It might have been a long time coming, as some things just grow old and feel to me like I'm not posting it out of interest but more like what in a way is expected from me.

I changed things for a number of reasons, not just one reason. I just like to publish content that is interesting, or funny, or I just enjoy, more diverse. Though it doesn't mean I lost my interest totally.

Today I was looking around, usually find something on my timeline. But today, my timeline just gives me a sad feeling to be very honest.

In the Netherlands the national Commemoration of the Holocaust took place. A yearly event, commemorating the horrible events that took place during WW II. This year marks 81 years since the Netherlands and most of Europe was liberated, thanks to many foreign soldiers from many countries my country was liberated from the most terrible regime in the last century. Something that should never happen again. That's why we still remember and honor every year the ones fallen, the ones surviving reminding us by telling their stories.

Still this world knows a lot of violence and injustice. Every day there's another fire, another terrible event, another protest, another threat, another insult, another lie.... another life taken that shouldn't be taken 🥲

Today I just can not post something light, or funny. Today I just feel sad for our world.
