going with the whole “struggle for control” thing, i actually think having big venom represent the symbiote taking over is kind of a neat touch.

except it also sucks because it implies that big venom is something inherent to the symbiote, when like. it isn’t. it was something that came from eddie. neither peter nor anne looked like big venom, because they were different people.

and honestly, angelo and mac shouldn’t have looked like big venom either, but they did anyways because there seems to be this annoying growing trend where “venom” is just some evil identity inherent to the symbiote, (physically represented by “big venom”) and it’s carrying onto here too and i hate it
