You guys! It's done! I've written a story on ffn that has a thousand reviews! I'm smiling, laughing, crying. Some of you might laugh, but this is a literal dream of mine coming true. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude - I feel like thanking every single reader. Maybe I will.

You guys never cease to amaze me. I love each of you so damn much. Without you, I wouldn't have made it here, blinking tear after tear away, beaming with pride and satisfaction. This is the best feeling ever. I just... it's... I can't.

i love a lot of my early homestuck concepts, i had SO many ideas and things that i started before i settled on TD and this is probably my favorite part of a piece i was working on alongside the rooftop scene in TD.  literally there was a class i hated where i would just go between working between these two scenes for weeks at a time.

so this is just a little snippet of a bro-narrated piece i was conceptualizing as well at the time (and it was between this story and TD in terms of what i would develop further--i made the longer and more positive choice probably).

///////////////// She knew.  She knew how you treated him, and had labelled it appropriately.  You had no idea why she wasn't trying to kill you, or chase you away.  Shouldn't she be angry, for what you've done?  But, there was a strange lack of anger in her eyes.  No, there was just cool sternness and care for the boy who fidgeted on the other side of this platform in the middle of nowhere.  You forced yourself not to look at him anymore.  Although, he probably thought you were looking anyways, since he couldn't see your eyes through the shades.

Back to her then, and she was just looking at you with a steady gaze.  There were wisps of emotions, wisps of doubt, hesitance, and more that you couldn't quite read.  She should be angry.  She should be trying to gouge your eyes out with her needles.

You wondered, without Cal around to push you, would you let her?
