hmm I DO have a short titled 'Quarterly Report' which has Philza meeting with Skizz after the end of the Wild Life SMP. The central conceit there is that Phil is the Archangel of the Goddess of Death (u know, his irl wife) and that Skizz was a reaper angel. By running the life SMPs, Grian as a young Watcher is helping keep the balance of life and death in the multiverse in motion- no small feat when no one dies permanently easy.

I do like that AU, because it allows us to examine Skizz in a whole new light- and, at least in that particular short, it let Phil be a little vulnerable, because after he gives his report Skizz talks to Phil about Technoblade (never mentioned by name) and how he's doing in the afterlife.

There's ALSO the vaguest possibility that Philza as an Archangel of death, Technoblade as a piglin God of Blood/Vengeance, and JSchlatt as a God of Deals/Bargains (the devilish kind) all exist in the Beacon Angel universe. At least that was the inference in the chapter 'Poker Night at Crack Alley', which infers that Skizz and Schlatt have been friends for years.

I say 'vague' because the universe of Caveat Emptor- where the godly trio come from- is a bit more complex than Hermitcraft as I've designed it in the Beacon Angel lore, and the two meeting don't cancel one another OUT, exactly, but they do make things Complicated.

The long and short is I don't tend to mix outside Hermitcraft characters with Hermitcraft because the question of how and why they are on the server must be answered and I don't like boring answers to that question, which means plot, which means conflict, which isn't necessarily ANTITHETICAL to Hermitcraft by any means but is almost always insular in nature except That One Time They Accidentally'd Into Empires.

So I COULD drop Philza into Hermitcraft. I could!

But then I'd have to explain why he's there.

And oh boy could that get real messy real fast.
