my oral comm teacher asked me for my thoughts on taylor’s break up and criticism that her music is “white girl problems” 😭 told her that i was surprised ab the breakup but with everything I’ve heard from her team i’m glad taylor chooses herself and ik she’ll be fine, and as for the other thing I said criticism of her activism is valid because lots of white people have a long way to go but to reduce her music to that doesn’t allow minorities to resonate and celebrate normal parts of life like love and friendship etc, with this expectation that everything consumed has to be about trauma — and she really like that!!!!
