'Peppermint Bark' Soap Recipe BASE Castor Oil............................01.63 oz Coconut Oil.........................09.78 oz Olive Oil..............................13.04 oz Palm Oil...............................06.52 oz Sweet Almond Oil................01.63 oz Lye.......................................04.63 oz Water...................................10.76 oz

Titanium Dioxide.........................6 Tsp Brown Oxide Pigment.................1/4 Tsp

Peppermint Essential Oil....................1.80 oz Dark Rich Chocolate Fragrance Oil....0.60 oz

DIRECTIONS In a large bowl, measure out oils one by one and melt in the microwave, mix well and set aside to cool.

Measure out water and lye in separate containers and add lye into water, stirring slowly until all visible chunks are dissolved. Set aside to cool.

Measure out Pigments and FO and EO into separate containers, Make a slurry out of the titanium dioxide and sweet almond oil and BO and sweet almond oil, set everything aside.

When both lye water solution and oil solution are room temperature (90-75 degrees), slowly mix lye water into oils and stir with stick blender. Turn stick blender on and blend until light trace.

Pour 1/4 batter into a smaller container and color with pre-measured out Brown Oxide Pigment. Pour in Dark Rich Chocolate FO and mix by hand. Pour thin even layers evenly between all 12 compartments of the molds. Set aside to firm up a bit.

Mix Titanium Dioxide into remainder of the batter, gently stir in Peppermint EO by hand. Carefully pour into molds over chocolate layer. Top with red star, white star and red sugar sprinkles. Cover with a paper towel.

THE NEXT DAY Carefully un-mold all 12 bars , set in a safe spot to cure for at least 4 weeks.
