I would write something inspirational & poetic but I simply dont have the time right now - how do ANY of us find the time to read & write on here?! part two of our clean/sober bachelorette party staycation: a cedar enzyme foot soak, swedish massage & custom facial followed by a lunch next to the river & a visit to the meditation garden. there was a point in time where I was emotionally mentally physically incapable of spending $5 on food because it was too close to being $7 that could be spent on a dime bag. yesterday I threw down three & a half bills (which I planned to spend & I saved up for) on self-care & memories that will last a lifetime at this spa & sanctuary. I have a 748 credit score & I fucking researched credit cards before I signed up for the one I have, which I pay off every month. I used to deposit blank envelopes to pull out money that did not exist ... until I couldnt even be trusted with a bank account due to negative balances at multiple banks. during my 9th step amends process I cleaned those debts up, then I cleaned up my credit & by practicing spiritual principles like integrity discipline & patience Ive held a job for 3 & a half years that allows me to enjoy extravagant days like this - a day that was not the norm by any means or stretch of the imagination but holy toledo was it priceless to know exactly four years earlier I was kicking opiates & stimulants on a bunk in ventura county less than 24 hours into an 8mo sentence.
