This is a long story about addiction, addicts and a hole. . An addict walking down the road fell into a whole. He was screaming for help, and a priest came by. The priest yelled down to him. The priest assured the addict everything would be okay and he would pray for him. The priest walked away. Still screaming someone else heard the addict and called the fire department. The firman came and yelled down to the addict. They told the addict everything would be okay, although the ladder wasn’t tall enough the would call the mayor and ask for a taller ladder that would surely help the addict out of the hole, the firemen left. Just as the addict had started to lose hope they began to pray. At that moment another addict came by the hole. The first addict yelled up and was thankful their higher power had sent one more person. The second addict jumped into the hole and the first addict mournfully said why did you do that, now we are both stuck down here.
