A Moscow Metro armoured truck seen in Moscow. My conspiracy theory of "the new Moscow Metro security force is actually mayor Sobyanin's personal guard" is getting more real by the day.

I mean:

- they appeared with no fanfare during the mobilisation but they're not going to the frontlines, no

- there are a lot of them. They move in patrols of like 3 at least.

- they all look strong as fuck. These are no rent-a-cops

- the fancy grey beret uniforms

- and now they have their own armored trucks?

I'm pretty sure that they are supposed to be Sobyanin's Kadyrovtsy (Sobyanintsy?) for a violent Putin's death scenario. It's tempting to imagine that he may actually care about the city, he spent so much time leading. Although one should always be wary of assigning such noble character to government officials, of course
