Like his character is so tragic BECAUSE HES A CHILD. Hes 17! That's a baby! And yet hes so deeply hardened and cruel to the world. That's the POINT. And we only get to see glimpses of hope for kaz rietveld (vs brekker the bastard of the barrel) towards the end of ck. It doesnt really work if hes an OLD ASS MAN.
