Just got home from my 3rd day of tryouts. I decided to stop going to the morning tryouts because it really drained me and I need all the energy I have for the afternoon practice since it gets so intensely hot in the afternoon. It was 95 degrees today which was terrible. I have to many bruises and cuts from the turf and getting hit with the ball but I love these battle scars. I made junior varsity 2. I was actually hoping to get that team because I had so much fun on that team last year. It kind of bugs me that I wasn't good enough to make junior varsity but in still glad that I'm going to get some playing time and that I'm going to be on the team with my friends again. I hope I get the chance to be on junior varsity this year. Next year I'm going to have to be on Varsity because of my age but I think it will be okay.
I just got my first goalie cardio workout in in almost a year. I feel so beat. I couldn't even continue. I had to take a long break and I feel to terribly about it. I normally can go through a while workout since I weight train but cardio and weight training are completely different! I have try outs again tomorrow at the same times and I really don't want to go but I have to go. I know I'm going to feel better after this week is done.
i rlly want to tryout for club soccer but im rlly nervous and afraid because 1) im rlly out of shape and cant run long distances 2) my ball handling is rlly bad because im a goalie 3) ive been having rlly bad selfesteem issues around my keeping this last few weeks??? 4) tryouts are in less than a month and i barely have time to train properly but i rlly want to play select but im also like???? commitment???? because we've been planning this month long crosscountry vacation but if i make a team we wont be able to go?? uuuuuaaaaaAAAGGGHHH i hate decision making like this input is welcome? ?
