(I'm not super good at expressing what I mean, so I spent a lot of time on this I hope everyone understands what I'm trying to say) Tw, mention of domestic abuse? Uh, I'm also talking about stuff like anger issues,
People say they're open minded and support every unique person.
Until it's someone who's morally grey.
Until it's someone with anti social behavior or anger issues.
Until it's someone who doesn't understand social stuff and needs to you explain it all meticulously.
Until it's someone who's apathetic or brutally blunt.
Until it's someone who lies a lot.
Until it's someone who comes off as attention seeking.
Until it's someone who doesn't fit society's standards because of experiences.
Until it's someone who doesn't fit society's standards for no reason at all, it's just the way they are.
And all those type of people.
One thing that really disgust me, is that a lot of us-people like I mentioned above-looked up to people like you lot. The 'normal people'. Who understand these fucking stupid unspoken rules, and those facial expressions and cues, who is aware of their actions and able to control it, who aren't desperate, who aren't stuck in a body that seems to be out of their control, who can control what their hands are doing or the words on their tongues, who's brain seem to work in line and at the same frequency as everyone else. We would look up to you all, no matter how many times you threw us away, kicked us down and spat in our face. I used too. We're the freaks, we're useless and worthless, we're disgusting and we're bad people. And you are angels, you are normal, and deserve the space that's wasted by our bodies.
But truth be told! You all are also disgusting! So fucking disgusting! You call us all sort of things, but remember you are the ones letting those horrible words out of your mouth without understanding the whole thing, the ones kicking our bodies and telling us to 'kys'.
Those kind of people, the ones you call freaks, aren't bad people. The reason a lot of them turn out to be bad is because they never have anyone to guide them when they do something wrong. There is a point where people can't change, and you can't do anything about it-but you all are so quick to give up. And you also don't have to be so mean, rude, and offensive about it too-and if you have to leave them to themself, that's fine. But again, don't be so quick to give up and hate.
The morally grey one? Help them keep a sort of moral compass. They don't need to be super good and sweet, just make sure they don't harm anyone. Don't call them evil, or horrible-it could affect them, and lead them to actually become like that. They're just like anyone else, be nice to them, understand the, guide them, love them, have fun with them.
Apathetic? What's wrong with that? Some look apathetic, but are feeling all sorts of things inside. Some actually are apathetic. Not everyone is able to make those expressive faces, change their tones for different emotions, or feel as much interest as everyone else. You get mad at them, force them to be someone they're not, curse them, and they're become those ignorant mocking people. They're just like anyone else, be nice to them, understand them, guide them, love them, have fun with them.
Someone who needs you to explain all those social rules meticulously? Fair enough! How do you all understand those tones and faces, the cues, the hidden meanings, the unspoken rules?! Not all of us and fucking robots who somehow understand those fucking stupid unspoken rules. Some of us need you to explain it, AND THAT'S FINE! You don't need to call us stupid and all sorts of slurs. And maybe we don't even need to know them as long we're not being offensive or hurtful. They're just like anyone else, be nice to them, understand them, guide them, love them, have fun with them.
Anger issues? When I do something wrong, when I break something or hurt someone, I should absolutely face consequences. And people have a right to get mad at me. But please don't scream at me, and tell me to die. Help me. I'm at a breaking point and need a way to take it out. Give me something to take it out on. Half of the time, I'm not even fully aware of what I'm doing-it feels like I'm in a dream, and my body's out of my control. I do not remember raising my fist to knock her teeths out, or wrapping my hands around her neck. I do not remember holding the pen so tight it left bruises or how it felt when it broke through his skin. It's horrible of me to do that and I felt guilty and I apologised and I faced the consequence. But someone help me, stop me when you see me starting to act, when my body is moving against my will.
Some who lies a lot? It's often a defense mechanism, and an unhealthy and bad one. A lot of the time, I don't even know I'm lying. I'm living in a world half built of lies. Help us with that too.
We're just like anyone else, be nice to us, understand us, guide us, love us, have fun with us.
That one person who expects you to be friends with them even after you or they have done horrible things, or the relationship is just too toxic? They watched their parents fight and hurt each another, and still stay together. In some cases, you may need to break that toxic friendship. But leave with your final words being a guidance.
That one person in your social circle who spills everything and can't keep a secret? Once upon a time, for example, they used to have a mother who would force them to spill everything, to keep control over them. Help them. Guide them. Don't whisper things about them behind your back.
That one person, who just doesn't fit in, can't understand social rules and all that although they had a relatively normal life and have no actual 'condition to justify' the way they are. Hey, let them in. Don't stare and point at them.
Attention seeking people are a little trickier-their actions may trigger people, and they may fake disorders and stuff and that downplays people who have actually been through that. But first, tell them what they're doing.
Sometimes, like those who lie a lot, aren't aware what they're doing. If they're willing to change, help them and guide them. If that, yeah that's probably a sign to leave them or cut them off if they become hurtful and start to push boundaries. This process applies to everyone, to be honest. AND, I'm not justifying anyone if they did anything wrong. Everyone on this planet should face consequences for whatever they do. But we should all also be open and help each another.
