Mariah Carey is moving past Nick Cannon in a big way. The "Infinity" singer is on a great adventure with her new beau, Australian billionaire James Packer. It all started in Europe with the requisite private plane shot. "Ciao Italia," the singer captioned this Instagram photo, including the hashtags "#yay" and "#vacation."
Dating a billionaire has perks, obvs. In this case, Mariah gets to be the first mate on Packer's yacht. Here she is — in a plunging evening gown, of course — with her jogging pants-wearing man, his business partner director Brett Ratner, and Warner Bros. Entertainment CEO Kevin Tsujihara. Or, as she called the crew, the "RatPac." People magazine described the star's relationship with Packer as "brand new," but it has "been bubbling for a couple of months."
While it is a romantic voyage — Mariah is getting to know her new beau — it’s also a kid-friendly one. She brought along Monroe and Moroccan (her 4-year-old twins with Nick Cannon) and Packer, who is also twice divorced, brought his three kids. The Day-Glo aficionado gave daughter Roe a lift on the deck. "#girls time #capri #minime," she posted.
Mariah's little skipper, Roc, checked out some of the local sights in Capri. "Boys will be #boys #capri #rocstarr," she wrote.
The kids were apparently with mom on Father's Day, so they made cards for the America's Got Talent host and snapped a photo of them from afar. A virtual greeting card, if you will. "Happy Father's Day @nickcannon!! Love, Roc & Roe," Mariah captioned the shot of her little Picassos.
While this looks like this could be the set of her latest music video, it's just a pic she snapped to say, "Arrivederci Italia!" They had other places to go, people to see.
Next on the itinerary was France to be on the scene at the star-studded Cannes International Festival of Creativity. Mariah, who rocked a tight black dress for the occasion, posted another photo with Packer as well as Brian Grazer and Fox Television studios Chairmen and CEO Dana Waldren. There are already rumors that Mariah is so serious about Packer, who was linked to supermodel Miranda Kerr last year, that they are talking marriage. However, her camp denied that.
What does a diva do during her downtime on a fancy luxury yacht? Have someone take pictures of her, of course. This one was taken in Cannes.
Mariah, who will be in Las Vegas in July for her residency at Caesars Palace, also posed for a swimsuit shot with Roe, which she captioned, "mermaids."
As if it was in question, Mariah, in a nautical frock, was "feelin good," she noted in this shot taken in South Africa's La Cote D'Azur. Next stop? Anywhere.
