The 26th marked the second anniversary of The passing of Negro Matapacos, Chile’s riot dog. He was a stray from the streets of Santiago de Chile. He triumphed over water cannons and tear gas and the boots of cops. He only barked and attacked riot police. Never once turned on rioters.
