I see so many spoiled Westerners, very angry at Western civilization, criticizing every little aspect of it, while ignoring completely the fact that most of the world doesn't even have the basic freedoms that we have, and that those same freedoms are extremely fragile and recent.

So yes, keep on hating "white men", "evil capitalism" or "patriarchy" while you can. You probably won't be able to do that in the near future if we continue on this path of destruction of "capitalist western culture", because it is thanks to capitalism and democracy, even with all it's flaws, that we are free and live better than the rest of the world.

I am so happy and grateful to have been born in the West and so grateful to all the people who in the past fought and gave their lives to allow me to be free today. Most people in the rest of the world have not been so lucky.
